Social networking is a great tool for you to use as an Internet marketer. You likely already use Facebook and Twitter to attract new clients and do promotions to current customers. If you keep up with the social media scene, there is a new kid on the block: Google+.

Google+ is sort of like a hybrid between Twitter and Facebook. Google+ allows you to put different people into different circles. Each circle represents a sector. You can send out information to all circles at once or post information so that only certain circles will get the feed.

This can work to your advantage if you run a company that sells a variety of different products. If you have a promotion going on geared only towards the teenage age bracket, you do not have to make it visible to your older customers who may get annoyed by seeing an advertisement for a product that they have no use for.

Google+ also allows users to recommend things to other users. If you post an article about a product on the web and a Google+ user pushes the Google+ button, people in that users circles will have the article recommended to them. This can be a great way to get your company name out there to new people.
Since Google+ is still new, only certain people are being invited off the bat. If you already belong, you can invite more users. You can go through your database and see if your clients would like an invite to grow your following.
