The online world is just full of websites where they have something interesting to offer. For a lot of people’s websites, this is unfortunately an easily lost part of it all, because of some very silly little details. One of those details is that a lot of websites do not lay out how great the underlying business’s service is. If you do not tell people something, whether or not it is about your level of customer service, it would be very foolish for you to expect them to know anything about it. But of course, just like with a lot of the owners of strictly brick and mortar businesses, a lot of web masters are under the silly assumption that if they build it, people will come. If they offer a product for sale, people are just supposed to show up and buy it. Wouldn’t that be great? Unfortunately, you have got to offer them a little bit more than just “something.”
First off, how do you serve people for free? If you are not aware of this, be advised that if you want to be well paid to do something, you have got to start out by doing it for free first. As you begin to understand your niche, and then begin to tailor what you offer to them, you are naturally going to start experiencing opportunities to make money. One great example is of bloggers, who can often get to a point where people are following them in sufficient numbers that they can pitch other people’s products and make an impressibe income off of this pitch fest. If you do not start out by supplying people with something great to start with, however, you are not going to attract the people who are willing to pay for what you can provide them with.
For another thing, how do you follow up with people? If you are the type who always responds to e-mails, sends out regular blasts, and answers (or has someone answer) customer service issues quickly, you are going to do far better than ignoring your customers.
